After an extended break for the Christmas Season, we are back in the saddle with
Hoplite Soldiers and
Alexander the Great, touring
Classical Greece. Listening to
Tales of the Odyssey and
The Iliad for Boys and Girls on Librivox while sketching the Parthenon was fun, but the kids got the biggest kick out of this
History Channel intro to the mythological gods and goddesses. Sorry, no pics this week. Next week I promise to let you sneak a peak at the Trojan Horse and warrior shields we plan to construct out of cardboard and papier mache.
